  • Where are you currently based?

    I am currently serving as the Jeffery Kelter postdoctoral fellow at Trinity College’s Center for Urban Global Studies in Hartford, CT. In this role I am focusing on my research and teaching courses like: Global Cities, Introduction to Urban Studies, and Urban Ethnography!

  • What discipline are you in?

    I am an Urban Studies enthusiast which means I feel at home in several different fields/disciplines. My work borrows methodological tools and theories Sociology, Anthropology, Geography, History, Political Science, and more. I get most excited about collaborating with other inter/multidisciplinary thinkers!

  • What are you working on now?

    Since earning my Ph.D. in the Summer of 2023, I have been working on turning my dissertation research into my book project. Along the way, I’ve started working on several articles, and am now diving deep into research around AI and African Cities. It is an exciting time!

  • Are you currently on the job market?

    Yes, I am! My postdoctoral position at Trinity College will conclude in Summer 2026, so I am currently seeking academic positions. If you are interested in my work or think I might be a good fit for a position at your institution, please reach out.

  • What do you do besides academic work?

    Despite my passion for academic work, I also pride myself on being well-rounded. I am a walker, a houseplant enthusiast, a kahu for my dog, an adventurer with my partner, a home chef, and a creative (sculpture, printmaking, drawing). I am also an SEO analyst with more than 5 years of experience.
